Food Industry Solutions Forum

This Forum was a follow-up meeting to the July 2014 Roundtable on Water and Wastewater Management in the Food Processing Industry. Many issues and concerns around water management were raised at the Roundtable by participating food companies. This Forum directly addressed those issues.

A range of speakers from industry, government and research organisations provided information and advice on:

  • Water supply, pricing and quality
  • Strategies for reducing trade waste.
  • New technologies in water treatment and recycling.
  • Collection, treatment and use of rainwater & stormwater
  • Water efficiency in processing.


This free, half day event ran on Fri 26 Sept 2014, at the National Centre for Synchrotron Science, Clayton, Victoria.
